18-11-2025
19:30 - Cloudflare has resolved their issues. We have reverted our work-around as it is no longer needed.
15:30 - We have implemented a work-around, our API's are accessible again.
13:27 - The Cloudflare issue continues to impact our services. We are investigating.
13:15 - Between 12:30 - 13:10 there were intermittent periods where our services could not be reached.
12:50 - Our API is currently being impacted by a Cloudflare issue. We are working on a solution.
The Cloudflare issue is explained in this blog post. To mitigate the impact of similar issues in the future, we will create a new protocol that will allow us to implement work-arounds faster. During this incident the Cloudflare problem appeared to be resolved multiple times, slowing down our response. In the future, we will be taking measures more proactively according to our new protocol.
Common issues
Are you experiencing API errors even though the API is up? Below are some common issues that you might encounter.
- Check your account status by logging in to account.postcode.eu. Make sure there are no overdue invoices. Invoices that are left unpaid will eventually lead to a temporarily blocked account.
- Do you have a test account? You may have run out of test requests. Log in to account.postcode.eu to check your account status and request a subscription.
- If you are using a third party plugin to access our API, make sure it's licence is still valid. Contact your plugin provider to check this.
